D'Anjou Pears

  • This pear originated in the 1800s in Belgium, but named after the Anjou region in France.

  • Its color is pale green that ripens to a yellow.

  • Also known as a “winter pear”, picked in late September but ready to eat in December.

  • Flavor profile is sweet and juicy.

  • Excellent for fresh- eating,salads and baking.
