Granny Smith Apples

  • This well-known, "green" apple originated in Australia in 1868, and named after Maria Ann Smith.

  • This is a have a hardy apple with a light green skin with a crispy, juicy flesh.

  • The taste is tart and tangy, when cooked they become much sweeter.

  • Excellent for fresh-eating and a bakers favorite.
